Busy week mid December with New Listings and Home Inspections that all need to be tended to. As we traveled between Tuscany and Lake Las Vegas all morning we took some time to visit Water Street and grab some Lunch at one of the many restaurants that now thrive in the Water Street District in Henderson.
Located just off Lake Mead Parkway between Boulder Highway and the 215 Beltway, the Water Street District is conveniently located for residents of Lake Las Vegas as well as Tuscany & Cadence. With all of the new development in the residential sector off of Lake Mead Pkwy the need for Dining and Shopping is a must.
We opted for lunch at Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina which was absolutely delicious ! Very nice seating situation, great service and food with a Bar area that is one of the coolest I’ve seen in Henderson NV.
The Lifeguard Arena where the Henderson Silver Knights practice is an Amazing Facility and has it’s own Grill /Pub called Mackenzie River Pizza. There is also the Lovelady Brewing Co. and Hardway 8which is a GastroPub / Sports Bar where you can grab a drink and watch the Golden Knights NHL Games.
The Decor and Styling of these Bars / Pubs reflects the history and pride that the owners have in Las Vegas & Henderson as they are locals to the area and like to pay homage. In order to bring the community together the Water Street District has a whole calendar of events every month that include a Farmers Market, Holiday Parades, Concerts and Last Friday which is similar to 1st Friday that takes place in Downtown Las Vegas and showcases local artists, food trucks & local DJ’s to keep vibes up lifting.
Anytime the community can come together and embrace new businesses it is a very positive occurrence for the City. Having multiple options for Dining and Entertainment all one one Street where people can walk from storefront to storefront and enjoy their day is a new addition and a welcome one to the City of Henderson.
